The Community Spirit is a vodka brand that celebrates well, you guessed it, the spirit of communities. But not just any old community, they focus on unsung and under appreciated communities. With a focus on NY, LA and TX, we set out to discover and celebrate communities many overlook. And thus, the Block Bottle was born. Each bottle tells the story of a unique and unsung community - the birth of many African American musicians in the heart of Leimert Blvd in LA, the roots of tex-mex with the Chili Queens of Military Plaza in San Antonio and the invention of community street golf with the infamous Tiger Hood on Minetta Lane in NYC. Each bottle’s label is illustrated by an artist residing in these communities - Oscar Bastidas (NY), Jiaqi Wang (LA) & Michele Angelo (TX). We also created custom cocktail recipes inspired by each community.
